As we begin the month of June, Kelly and I are so excited to be part of Grace Baptist.

We have always received blessings in serving alongside the church and we look forward to getting to know everyone as we serve Jesus. I also want to thank each of you, we have visited Grace on several occasions over the last couple of months, from the soup kitchen, Easter egg hunt, visiting the assisted living home, and of course church service, and each time you have been so welcoming, and we have felt your love of Jesus through these times.

But now Summer is upon us, kids are out of school, vacations, and getaways Here we come! but, Grace Baptist is still about our Heavenly Father's business. As our Mission team leaves this month for Alaska, I encourage you to pray that God not only uses them to reach and help others, but they themselves grow stronger in their faith and grow closer to God. We pray for traveling mercies and for God to be glorified.

We also have the Church Lake Day on June 8th at Tugaloo State Park. We pray everyone can come out and enjoy the fellowship. I also want to encourage you to take time and invite a friend, they may be members at another church or not affiliated with a church, but I will always encourage you to invite someone to church or a church outing.

I pray you have a great summer, and if you go on vacation, be sure and take Jesus with you.
